This article is an ad from Geox. We can see that each word written has been thought very seriously before an they use a special vocabulary to attract customers ( “hhappy feet”, “healthier”, “offers”…).

For their shoes print ads, Geox wanted to show how their shoes were breathing and that’s why we can see a jet of air going ot of the shoes.

Here, Geox has focused on the comfort you feel wearing their shoes. Wearing Geox you will not feel the shoes and will be as well as if you weren’t wearing anything.

At the beginning of the ad, the woman is buying some clothes but she refuses to buy the shoes that the man proposes to her, she is waiting for the shoes that will fit the best to her. She is walking on the steet with her feet naked and she finds a man also walking with naked feet. They both stop, look at each other, see there is a Geox shop and decide to enter in together to buy good shoes.

It’s interesting to see how they have done in this ad to show how good their shoes are and how well the customer will feel wearing them.

I love this ad, it’s one of my favourite since it’s funny and easy to understand. In fact, wearing Geox you will not have the kind of problem the man on the video has….

A very well done ad for the brand: funny, explicit and easy to remember.

Geox shoes are my favourite one, let me explain you why…

During a business trip to Reno, Nevada to promote the family’s wine business at a trade fair, Mario Moretti Polegato decides to take a walk. Bothered by his overheated feet which were clad in rubber-soled shoes, he instinctively punctured holes into the soles to let air through. He had just discovered a simple and effective way to let excess heat out of his shoes.

Mr. Polegato then developed his idea in the workshop of a small footwear company owned by the family. Once this rubber-sole technology was in place he patented the system right away to create the world’s first “breathable shoe”.
